신입학 (일반대학 일반학과): TOPIK 3급 이상 등 7가지 중 하나를 충족해야 한다(본교 어학센터 한국어과정 3급 이상 수료(6개월 이상 수강), 어학센터 자체시험 합격, 사회통합프로그램 3단계, 세종학당 중급1, 인증대학 한국어교육기관 3급, 국내 4년제 대학 부설 한국어교육기관 4급). 어학센터 3급 수료자·자체시험 합격자는 입학 후 1년간 300시간 이상 한국어연수 필수(입학 후 첫 학기에 TOPIK 3급을 취득하면 120시간). 미충족자는 입학 후 자동 휴학(한국어 교육 휴학) 처리되어 본교 한국어과정을 수강해야 하며(국외 거주 중이고 D-4 비자가 없는 자만 가능), 정부초청학생·외국정부지원장학생·예체능학과 입학생·이중언어과정은 기준 완화.
