Common to undergraduate new admission and transfer admission (excluding exempt departments): Applicants must hold a TOPIK Level 3 or higher score or have completed an equivalent Korean language course.
Department of Creative Writing, College of Humanities and Social Sciences (undergraduate new admission and transfer admission): Only applicants who hold TOPIK Level 6 may apply to the Department of Creative Writing.

Six residence halls are operated, including Seongnim Hall (where international students live) (housing.seoultech.ac.kr). New students select the dormitory on the admission application and submit a separate dormitory application after being accepted; due to capacity limits, not everyone is assigned. 申请方法: Submit a separate dormitory application after acceptance (through the International Affairs Office); enrolled students use the SUIS room application system. Dormitory fees for the first semester can only be paid in cash (virtual account); from later semesters, installment payment is available (enrolled students)
Four 10-week terms (spring, summer, fall, winter), levels 1-6, in-person Mon-Fri 9:00-13:00 or 14:00-18:00. Application fee KRW 50,000; new students register at least 2 terms; D-4 visa document set (bank balance KRW 10,000,000); airport pickup and level test/OT each term; completion of Level 4 or higher counts as admission language proof. ↗MSDE Department (Years 1-4 taught in English, dual degree with Northumbria University, UK), ITM major (Years 2-4 taught in English), Department of IT Convergence Engineering (English track). English Track undergraduate: MSDE, ITM, Business Administration, Global IT Convergence; English requirement TOEFL iBT 71 / IELTS 5.5 (varies by department; exempt for English-official countries); ITM needs TOPIK 3.
After tuition payment and document check, SeoulTech issues the Certificate of Admission for the visa application at a Korean consulate. After arrival the office handles alien registration (within 90 days at Seoul Immigration Office, Sejongno), address change reports, extension of stay (D-4 3M KRW / D-2 7M KRW balance), part-time work permits (up to 25h undergrad / 30h master per week in semester), ARC reissue; also group online ARC/visa submission announcements.
National Health Insurance mandatory (KRW 79,320/month in 2026); plus free OIA group insurance (accident/illness, outpatient up to KRW 50,000/visit, repatriation KRW 25,000,000) applied online via soskb.co.kr after consultation at OIA.
Individual psychological counselling (45-50 min weekly, confidential) with an application form for foreign students; OIA also offers academic counselling.
Korean-programme site offers buddy/mentor application and mentoring; OIA runs a major tutoring tutor/tutee programme (2026 fall notice) and International Student Association/Club.
OIA operates a job programme and the ANCHOR (formerly RISE) programme for international students.
Airport pickup is scheduled each term for Korean-language-programme students (date TBD each term).
