Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the information and membership services that StudyToKorea ("the Service") provides about visas, schools, documents, jobs and travel, and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of members and the operator of the Service.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms, signs up and uses the Service.
• "Document Locker" means the feature in which members upload and keep admission and visa documents.
• "Content" means the information about visas, schools, jobs and travel that the Service provides.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment of these Terms)

These Terms take effect when they are posted on the Service. The Service may amend these Terms where necessary without violating applicable law. When it does, it announces the effective date and the reason for the change at least 7 days before the change takes effect.

Article 4 (Services provided and changes)

The Service provides the following:

• Information about visas, schools, jobs and travel
• Management of members' personal details, education and study plans
• Uploading admission and visa documents and tracking preparation (Document Locker)

Information the Service provides about visas, admissions and employment is for reference only and is not an official answer with legal effect. Always confirm the exact requirements with official bodies such as HiKorea, the immigration office with jurisdiction, and the admissions office of the school concerned.

Article 5 (Membership)

Membership is formed when a user agrees to these Terms, completes email verification, fills in the sign-up form set by the Service and applies, and the Service accepts the application. The Service may refuse an application, or terminate the agreement afterwards, in any of the following cases:

• The application was made in another person's name
• False information was given in the application
• The applicant previously lost membership, for example for breaching these Terms

Article 6 (Closing an account and loss of membership)

Members may ask to close their account at any time, and the Service closes it immediately. If a member breaches these Terms or disrupts the operation of the Service, the Service may restrict or end the membership after giving notice.

Article 7 (Members' obligations)

• Members must give truthful information when signing up and when entering information.
• Members must manage their own account and password and may not transfer or lend them to anyone else.
• Members must not upload other people's documents or forged or altered documents to the Document Locker. Members are responsible for any consequences of doing so.

Article 8 (Obligations of the Service)

The Service makes every effort to provide the Service continuously and reliably, in line with applicable law and these Terms, and keeps members' personal information secure under its Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

The Service is not responsible when it cannot provide the Service because of force majeure, such as natural disasters or system failures. The Service is not responsible for the outcome of a member's visa application, university application, job search or similar activity carried out with reference to information the Service provides.

Article 10 (Dispute resolution)

If a dispute arises in connection with these Terms, the Service and the member will consult in good faith to resolve it. If they cannot, either may bring an action before the competent court under applicable law.

Effective date

These Terms take effect on 2026-09-03.
